We believe business documents should stay yours.

HAK Tools is designed with a browser-first approach. When you create a quotation, invoice, purchase order, sales order, receipt, delivery receipt, credit note, debit note, or statement of account, the information you enter is processed directly in your browser and your document is generated locally.

You don't need an account, and document data is not uploaded to a HAK Tools server for document generation or storage.

This page explains what happens to the information you enter and what your browser may store.

Your documents stay in your browser

The document generators on HAK Tools process the information you enter directly in your browser.

This can include:

Your document data is not uploaded to a HAK Tools server for document generation or storage.

No account is required, and there is currently no cloud-based document storage or cross-device document history.

When you generate a PDF, the file is created directly in your browser.

What your browser may remember

HAK Tools can store some information locally in your browser to make the document generators easier to use.

Each generator keeps its own draft and History.

Current draft

Your current document may be saved locally as you work. This helps prevent your work from being lost if you accidentally refresh the page or leave the generator.

Drafts are stored separately for each document type.

History

Documents are only added to History when you explicitly chooseSave to History.

Simply typing or editing a document does not create additional History records.

History is stored locally in your browser and is not uploaded to HAK Tools.

If you add a company logo, it is processed and stored locally in your browser along with the relevant document data.

Your logo is not uploaded to HAK Tools.

Appearance

Your selected light or dark appearance may also be remembered by your browser.

Local storage is tied to your browser and device

Because document drafts and History are stored locally, they arenot synchronized between browsers or devices.

For example, locally stored information will not automatically appear when you:

HAK Tools cannot recover locally stored drafts or History after that data has been removed.

If a document is important, we recommend downloading the PDF or keeping your own copy.

Contact form

The contact form works differently from the document generators.

If you choose to contact us, information you submit — such as your name, email address, message type, and message — is sent to us so that we can read and respond to it.

Contact messages are stored in aprivate spreadsheet through our form-processing endpoint.

This information is only collected when you voluntarily submit the contact form.

Your document data is not automatically included when you contact us.

Anonymous analytics

HAK Tools can collect a small amount of anonymous usage information so we can understand which tools people open and whether PDF download is working.

This can include:

Analytics events do not include the contents of your documents, your business or customer details, or any contact-form information.

These events are stored in aprivate spreadsheet through a separate analytics endpoint. That endpoint is independent of the contact form.

If analytics is not configured, these events are not sent. Document generation continues to work even if the analytics endpoint is unavailable.

What HAK Tools doesn't require
